NaBloPoMo: Day 9

Mental health is a second pillar of strength for my little human paradigm I addressed a few days ago. That is one of the issues that is most pressing in our decision to leave ID and head to California.

Sarah and I just woke up to our last day on the job. We came back to the IYR yesterday afternoon for our last couple days, went to bed last night, and then woke up this morning – feeling completely wiped out. We went to bed around 11:00 and got up after 6:30, but there was nothing refreshing about it. The 3 days we had in California were the longest and most refreshing days off we have had for months. We come back here, and in one day – already back to crap.

Yesterday – I had to speak with a Minidoka County Sheriff’s Deputy, go to the rec center to help stop a fight, argue with kids about appropriate language, about going to bed, about . . . bleh. Mental health, folks. . . It is an important thing. See – right now I am tired, so I am not communicating clearly. I will have to sign off for now – but I will be back tomorrow, at the latest – possibly later today to write more. . .

Bye.
